Pocket Bike Manufacturers

This is a list of pocket bike manufacturers around the world.

Blata

Pavel Blata started the Blata corporation in Czech Republic in the early 1990's. They built a line of gas powered racing minibikes and scooters. In 1992, Pavel met Rastislav Brodsky, who had been building a gas powered scooter called the Zoom. They joined forces and designed the Blatino line of gas scooters with a fiberglass body and the 2.5 kW engine featured in the Blata 2.5 pocket bikes. Since, the company has designed and produced a series of state of the art racing pocket bikes including the successful Elite series minibikes and Origami midi bikes. The latest iteration of those models is the Elite 15 and Origami B2. Their new high-end model is the Ultima, which features space-grade materials and the same legendary powerplant that powers the Elite and Origami bikes with some minor performance tweaks.

Blata now builds a line-up of mini motos, midi motos, mini motards (mini dirt bikes), mini quadards (mini quads), and the Blatino stand-up scooter (with an optional attachable seat). Recently they have taken their engineering expertise on the small scale and expanded to full-size motorbikes with the introduction of the 125cc full-size motards "125 BXM" and "125 BXE".

Polini Motori

Polini is better known in the US than GRC because they've sponsored Polini Cup for a number of years along with Blata. Their bikes may still be available for sale in the US although you will be sure to do some legwork trying to find a dealer, probably deal with a wait time, and pay the full price plus overseas shipping. Here's a 910 Carena in Polini signature blue.

Polini S.p.A. is an Italian manufacturer or pocket bikes, motorcycle parts, mopeds, and scooters. The company was started by an Italian soldier Battista Polini along with friends Carlo, Franco, and Piero, who developed a passion for two wheels and mechanics. Battista traded his bikes for a car, but the passion for exhilaration of a two wheeled device stayed with him. The passion turned into a factory making bicycles after WWII. Bicycles turned into motorized vehicles with the growing popularity of scooters at the end of the fifties, like the Vespa and the Lambretta.

Today, Polini carries a line of mini motos, minicross (pit bikes), and street equipped dirt bikes. Polini has also engineered and sells three models of powered parachute motors under the Thor brand.

Polini prides itself in top quality, precision designed, built, and tested components in all of their products.
